ProCut supported the seismic restrengthening of this Christchurch landmark, completing concrete cutting and core drilling across all levels of the building, from roof to basement.
With the casino remaining open throughout construction, the team worked in carefully managed shifts with strict safety controls and close coordination across trades to keep public access and daily operations running smoothly.
Scope of Work
- Floor chases for strengthening and service works
- Backing bar chases
- Internal and external core drilling, including 400-900mm depths
- Block wall demolition
Outcome
The work was delivered through a live, high-traffic environment while maintaining safe separation from public areas and allowing casino operations to continue.
